If you’re a Millenial or Gen X manager, you’ve probably experienced some tension and frustration with your Gen Z employees. Gen Z grew up with smartphones, social media and the internet at their fingertips, making them highly adept at using new technology. You’ll notice their quick ability to master new software, platforms or tools without much training. I’ve heard many managers complain that their Gen Z employees are addicted to their phones, but if we find the silver lining in that, one can assume many are also fluent in leveraging social media for brand engagement and marketing.
