What is a Visual Cue?

A visual cue is an image involving photos, objects, paintings, or even AI representations … pretty much anything that can be classed as visual.

Sensory Delight

If we’re looking at an image of dew-kissed flowers, we’re likely to talk about the vibrant colours of the petals, their heady scents, the silky green grass beneath our feet, the azure blue of the sky overhead, the heat of the sun on our shoulders, cooling zephyrs around our faces and the drifting cotton clouds above.

While verbal cues involve instructions, visual cues tap into our creativity in a whole different way than just ‘Write about the park.’

Visuals allow us not only to bring sensory details to the fore but also to take in the finer details and prompt our imaginations to stretch those details further.Happy writing! ★｡･:*:･ﾟ☆
