What is before the Big Bang?

For centuries, philosophers and scientists have asked the same question:

What was God doing before creating the world?

In the 4th century, philosopher Augustine of Hippo provided an intriguing answer: there was no “before.” According to him,

time itself did not exist until God created the universe,

This idea has fascinated thinkers, and now, in the scientific world, a similar question has emerged: what came before the Big Bang?What was God doing before He created the world?
