Photo by on Eurasia Group is a international consultancy specializing in the foreign affairs of the Eurasian continent. In today’s world, Eurasia seems like a distant reality; but it is not. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as well as the Israel-Hamas War in Gaza City, are both emblematic of the geopolitical trends in the Eurasian region.Should we even call it a region? If affirmative, then we would actually be calling the Russian Federation a region in and of itself. I don’t think we should call this a region when talking about specific current affairs happening right now, but it is reasonable to look at Eurasia as a continent that is becoming increasingly interdependent as a result of Russia’s and China’s expanding influence into those various countries and cultures.
