(From interstellar’s movie)
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

From the interstellar film appears an awareness towards which each of our generations must tend. Far from being just an epic spatio-temporal adventure, Christopher Nolan’s film proposes to answer an existential question. Humanity is you, it’s me, it’s us. Humanity refers both to the set of individuals belonging to the human species and to the particular characteristics that define belonging to this group.” — Critikiller on the web

Unfortunately, we don’t think as a specie. We think as individual or may be as family and friends. Otherwise, it makes no sense for us. That in mind, try to include biodiversity in the picture…

Until relatives are in danger, we generally don’t care much. Suddenly, people start to care about climates changes this year, because of climate fury. Well, human being works like that. Now that we care, what should we do?A strange war is looming before us. Wars on forest fires, floods, landslides, hail and insect pests. Governments will have no choice but to fight with all possible means. What does that mean? Authorities will have to take charge of all the means of production to devote them to fights to be fought. They will force production of indispensable goods. Require the granting of manufacturing licenses to multiply manufacturing of water bombers, fire trucks, all-terrain vehicles, fire hoses, sand pockets, submersible pumps, etc. As in wartime, food will be rationed, perhaps even some form of mobilization and conscription will take place.It is to be expected, for example, that Boing will be forced to stop manufacturing regular planes and to produce water bombers under license. That all automobile manufacturors will be dedicated to produce machines for civil security…Indeed, this time it will not be a war of civilizations but a war to save the human specie and parts of what will remain of biodiversity. We will have no choice in this fight!For that to happen, governments need total support from their people…

Will that happen?
