The impact of the Putin-Carlson Interview & Russian Energy Sanctions on World Affairs
The Munich Security Conference could not have gone down in a more provocative way than it did this year. Basically, all of the most controversial figures were in attendance, or commenting from a distance, about why this year’s NATO conference was the most critical one for the alliance going into 2024 and beyond.Former US secretary of state Hiliary Clinton and the wife of deceased Putin critic Alexei Navalny were both outspoken on their views toward Putin and Trump. For example, Clinton referred to a 2024 Trump victory as the most dismal scenario for US-Nato relations. Meanwhile, the wife of Navalny expressed her criticism of Putin’s regime and fiercely spoke out against the Russian Federation for its responsibility in the killing of Alexei Navalny.These were a culmination of events that have strong links to international politics and human rights.
