When Oppression Connects

We are not supporting war or racism, we are linked and connected through OPPRESSION!

Watching Al Jazeera news yesterday, and one of their journalists was interviewing an elderly Irish male in Ireland and he said something that twisted my heart. He explained his reason for supporting Palestine.He said, “he recalls the oppression, pain, and suffering his people had to fight under British occupation. He left the Palestinians’ pain under Israeli occupation.”

We can see the truth from the eyes in our heart
We are aware of where hatred and oppression start
As our people fight for the right to be
In a world that chooses to remain silent, because only certain nations should live happy and free

Children and women dying as our world was put on mute
Hiding the truth
As these nations rob, shoot, and loot
