How Chanakya Neeti changed my life
2500 years ago, ancient India saw the birth of a Scholar, Teacher, A Master of Statecraft called Chanakya. He was known for his wisdom, and people used to call him ‘Acharya’ (one who guided a person towards the right path). Acharya Chanakya was India’s greatest philosopher and thinker.
Acharya Chanakya was a nobleman in the court of King Dhananand of Nanda Dynasty, but he was removed from the court by Dhananand as he was not able to tolerate his insult. His teachings of life are written in a book called Chanakya Neeti.
I saw this book on Banglore station when I was on my way to Pune, my senior told me that this book will change your life. I then purchased this book as a companion in my journey. Here are the 10 lessons which I learned from Chanakya Neeti- A person should not be too honest. Straight trees are cut first and honest people are screwed first
Of course, honesty is the best policy, but too much of anything is harmful. Never be a person who can be easily used by other people and never be a person who uses other people. Most of the time people who are honest don’t do anything bad with others, but if someone else does anything bad to them, they are not able to stop that person. Those people who are not wise or powerful can be easily exploited, that’s why you have to be courageous, not to exploit others…
