When I was growing up, my dad would come away with all these pithy sayings and I’d groan like he had just woken me from a deep sleep.What I didn’t realize was how I would end up repeating these to myself when I needed them.They actually came in useful.I recall them when I need them.He said them so often, they just got ingrained in my brain.When life gets tough and he isn’t around for me to cry on his shoulder, his wisdom pops into my head.
