I Pose a Question for Science: Why?

If electricity and humans are natural occurrences, does that make the devices we create, like a bottle to catch lightning, natural as well? If we consider our creations natural, then wouldn’t all our products, technologies, and systems also be natural occurrences?I am not suggesting the iPhone occurs in nature, but everything an iPhone is made of has been plucked from nature and manipulated by natural beings to help us survive and make our lives easier. Just as bees naturally create manufacture honeycomb structures to produce honey, humans create technology to improve our lives. People wouldn’t argue that honey occurs naturally.This thought process leads me to my next question. If the iPhone and everything it consists of, including the method in which it receives service and power, came from nature at some point… why? Why has nature allowed us to develop the ability to communicate instantly, using beams of light?
