Writing these pieces was completely accidental. As a bona fide “owl,” I was surfing in the wee morning hours for the perfect image for another story. Eventually, I found it. But not before scanning many dozens of Unsplash photos.I understand that artists and photographers get paid for submissions to Unsplash. Hence, in this AI world of self-graphic designers, I am happy to support creatives in any minor way.Captivated by a plethora of shots, I saved them for future reference. As I continued clicking away, it struck me that they could be shared with other Medium readers. After all, I had spent countless hours searching.Voila! The first story was published. However, I had saved far too many to include in one piece. What to do? Trash them or keep publishing additional pieces? I opted for the latter. This is the eighth piece. Since the images are sufficiently poignant without text, I have not added any.Kudos to you for taking these moments of quiet reflection. 🤫[If you are reading this on a phone and the photos don’t populate immediately, try clicking on the images].
