ChatPDF: This tool allows you to upload a PDF and ask questions about its content. This is helpful when you are new to a research area and need help understanding technical terms or complex language. ChatPDF can also summarize the paper for you. It is also completely free.

Trinka: Designed specifically for academic writing, Trinka corrects grammar, spelling, sentence structure, tone, language usage, and style. It also has plagiarism check and citation check features. Though these are not that useful. Trinka has a free plan that allows you to correct up to 5,000 words.
