Updates on the Medium Partner Program’s Launch in India, Brazil, and Thailand
We have all been eagerly awaiting the introduction of the Medium Partner Program in India. I have an update regarding the Medium Partner Program’s introduction in India, Brazil, and Thailand, so let’s discuss it.
As we are enthusiastic about the Medium Partner Program coming to our country, unfortunately, there has been a delay for various reasons. I reached out to the Medium support team to address this issue and explained that many writers from India, Brazil, Thailand, and other countries where the Medium Partner Program has not yet been introduced are eagerly waiting for it. This program provides a reason for their hard work and encourages them to write more.
In the screenshot above, you can see that my question to the batxh.community primarily focused on India. I asked them when the Medium Partner Program would be introduced, and the response I received was:
“The team is working on legal, financial, and tax compliance to support all countries. For now, we’re working to support India, Brazil, and Thailand in the upcoming months and 60 additional countries by the end of the year. More info on upcoming plans here.”
So, what does this mean? It means that the Medium team is actively working on introducing the Medium Partner Program in India, Brazil, and Thailand, with a likely completion date by the end of October or November. This is essential because they have plans to expand the program to an additional 60 countries in the future. Therefore, it’s crucial to prioritize the introduction in India, Brazil, and Thailand first.
Additionally, they mentioned that, for the time being, they have launched a tipping feature as an additional way for readers to directly support writers. You can now earn through this feature on Medium if readers appreciate your work or want to acknowledge your contributions.
Based on the insights provided by the Medium team, it is reasonable to anticipate that the Medium Partner Program will become available to users in India, Brazil, and Thailand by the end of October or November. This presents an exciting opportunity for writers in these regions to further their creative endeavors.
