One of the most fundamental beliefs shared by Muslims of all schools of thoughts is the belief in the End of the World. In the holy Quran, the concept of the End of the World is mentioned in Surah Al Haqqah (Quran.69:13–16), also known as “The Inevitable Hour,” in English. However, in Islam, the Quran is always supplemented by Hadiths, which comprise the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the faith.Over the years, numerous prominent Muslim scholars have compiled the Hadiths and teachings of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), including well-known figures such as Muhammad al-Bukhari, Imam At-Tirmidhi, and Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj, among others.

The works of these scholars are universally regarded as authentic by Muslims from nearly every school of thoughts and continue to be relied upon to this day.

In what is regarded as one of the most authentic compilation of Hadiths, done by Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj, known as the Sahih Muslim, the concept of the End of the World is also discussed. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) not only predicted, but also described the End of the World to his companions, teaching them about the signs indicating its approach.
