Do you know what we often assume and generalize in life? Do you know what topic we think we know everything about? Or that we simply have nothing new to learn?Do you know what we most often neglect?

The answer to all three questions is the same: ourselves.

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
— Carl Gustav Jung

Getting to know ourselves is actually our life mission, a key theme that runs through our lives and all its parts. It’s a lifelong process. As Jung says, it’s our privilege.

Unfortunately, not everyone takes advantage of this privilege for various reasons. Some think it’s more important to get to know others and subordinate their lives to them, some take self-awareness for granted, while others believe it’s selfish, and some think it’s “work for the idle” and there are those who don’t know what to do with their lives.

There’s also another group of people — those who haven’t yet realized the possibility and importance of getting to know themselves.
