Here are some of the reasons why I write
So, the other day I read a wonderful story by one of my friends here on Medium, Caroline Gakii. Her story was titled, We all have different goals on Medium.
Caroline’s article inspired the story I am just about to write. Today, I would like us to explore the question: Why do you write?
Reason#1: To informI love to read, and through reading, I have gathered a lot of information. Information, as they say, is power.We can all agree that information makes life a bit easier, right?Learning about topics such as fitness and nutrition, teaching children, narcissistic abuse, food as medicine, self-improvement, and many more has left me with a lot on my mind.So, you could say that as I write, I am paying it forward. Someone, through their writing or videos, taught me something valuable, and I want to do the same for others.Because different people use different styles to convey a message, we can agree that variety is better in the field of writing to cater to the diverse types of readers.
I write here on Medium or Substack or elsewhere to inform.
